Bugs in straw or wicker baskets, how do you remove them?

By admin | November 1, 2008

MindOverMatter asked:

I have baskets made of straw or wicker material and bugs have appeared; very little one but plenty of them. I don’t want to throw the baskets away. How do I get rid of the bugs and preserve the baskets?

put the baskets in a trash bag and drop in a handful of moth balls, then air them out good.

If you live in a colder climate put the baskets outside for a few days.

Or you could put them in a garbage bag and spray bug spray in the bag and then seal it up for a few days.
