Ideas for reusing a large wicker basket?

By admin | August 6, 2008

Bamagirl2010 asked:

I recently won a contest and got a huge gift basket filled with cleaning supplies… It was the second place prize… the first being my dream honey moon.. sighhh oh well. Anyway, I have a large square wicker basket that it came in and it’s just beautiful but does anyone have ideas on how to reuse it?

      magazine rack
roll towels and place in it
roll sheets and/or pillowcases and store in it
      extra lotion bottles
place in closet with your socks or undies in it
      books
      currently due bills
stuffed animals in daughters or baby’s room
use it to regift to someone else… perhaps bridal shower (fill with kitchen utensils) or baby shower (fill with receiving blankets and baby wash, lotions, etc)

sorry, is all i can think of right now

The bottom hang it is square as decorative shelf to put pictures on the sides are.
The wall with the sides are at 90 degree angle to the wall unless it is really huge and use it on the wall.

You can store magazines in it, put hobby s equipment in it.
Line it and put potted plants in it. May be you can turn it upside down and put glass [cut to size] on it and make a coffee table. Good luck,

you can line it with heavy plastic, and plant varying annuals in it for a gift. great for mother’s day.
