What is the best way to weatherproof wicker furniture? ?

It’s been outside on a screened porch for about a month and it’s already cracking and has a little bit of mildew on it…how do I get the mildew off and what should I use on it to weatherproof it?

      i’ve seen something that you can just spray right on. go down to home depot and ask someone to help you and suggest you something.
